Welcome to Copper Cliff Flower Farm — a place of new beginnings, deep roots, and growing dreams.
Tucked into the scenic Garnet Mountains of Montana and surrounded by towering Ponderosa Pines, Spruce, Fir, and Juniper trees, our farm is a little slice of magic. After years of neglect, this once-thriving flower farm called to us, and we answered with muddy boots, big plans, and open hearts. Now, we’re rolling up our sleeves to bring it back to life — one bloom at a time.
We’re the Mauer family — Natalie, retired from a career in financial services; Steve, a CPA trading spreadsheets for soil; and Eric, our youngest with a talent for jazz trumpet, soccer, and now… flower farming. With the company of our three curious cats (Bagheera, Snowball, and Boynton), our loyal dog Griff, and a new brood of baby chicks, we’re on a mission to revive these fields and fill them with color and joy once more.
The farm came with a few hardworking structures — a hoop house, a sprout house, and fields patiently waiting beneath the weeds. Among the overgrowth, we’ve discovered resilient perennials like peonies, lilacs, daffodils, and hellebores, along with established woody plants like hydrangea, flowering quince, dogwood, and elderberry. And now, over two thousand flower seedlings are ready to take root once the frost has passed.

Phase One: From Weeds to Wow
In 2025, we’re laying the groundwork—literally. Phase One of our adventure is all about restoring the farm’s infrastructure and getting our blooms into the hands of local flower lovers through a nearby flower shop. It’s the start of something beautiful, and we’d love for you to follow along and see what blossoms next.
Looking ahead, future phases may include bouquet subscriptions (think CSA, but prettier), a charming U-Pick experience, or even a roadside Farm Stand bursting with seasonal color. We’re dreaming big and digging deep!
